About French Bungalow
According to legend, the French Bungalow, or the “French Castle”, was built by a Mysore prince who fell in love and married a beautiful French woman to make her feel at home when he took her back to India. It was complete with limestone walls, a Roman bath, and servants’ quarters. Due to neglect, the bungalow lay in ruins today. However, the shadows of its past grandeur is still present and worth a visit.
