About

Belonging to 7th century Kadasiddhesvara and Jambulingeswara temples are twin temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. In Kadasiddhesvara Temple Lord Shiva blesses devotees by holding a Trident in his hands. Both Temples were built in Nagara Style of architecture. The designs, artwork etc of Aihole’s Hucchimalle Guddi was depicted in these two temple. Jambulinga Temple has Lord Shiva in the form of Shiv Ling. Rekhanagara Tower decorates the Sanctum Sanctorum. Sculptures of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu can be seen in outer walls of Jambulingeswara Temple.
