About Thal Kedar
Located about 15 KMs from Pithoragarh, Thal Kedar is famous as Shaivite pilgrim site and also as a place of great natural beauty. Large number of pilgrims turn-up at the temple on Hindu festival of Shivaratri when a large fair is also held. A path through dense vegetation leads you to the temple which also provides great views of Kumaon Himalayas.
