About Shoghi
Shoghi is a small hamlet 13 Km short of Shimla on the Chandigarh-Shimla Highway. This place gives a glimpse of the commercialization and taste of the adjoining hill station Shimla. Thus is becoming an alternative to Shimla. Also famous for the Tara Devi temple, Shoghi sees a rush of lots of Hindu devotees. Other destinations in the surroundings that can be visited are the jakhoo Hill, Kandaghat, Viceregal Lodge and the park woods resort. Indeed a destination which offers plenty of trekking options as well as bird watching opportunities.
