About Gorumara National Park
Gorumara National Park is a relatively small park covering an area of about 80 sq. km and situated in the Terai region of the Eastern Himalayan foothills. It is famous for its Indian Rhinoceros population. This national park won the best National Park in the Country award in 2009 given by Ministry of Environment and Forest.
There are some stay options available inside the park in form of Forest bungalows and rest houses. These need to be booked well in advance.
