About

Home of the Indian Wild Ass, Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary is located in the Little Rann of Kutch. It is about 130 kms from Ahmedabad and a little more than 250 kms from Bhuj. It is spread over about 5000 sq kms and besides the wild ass, it also is the abode of several other species of animals and birds. Tourists prefer to visit the sanctuary by an organized jeep or minibus safari, most preferred entry point being at Dhrangadhra. October to March is usually a good time to visit. There are 3 entry points to the park – Aadeshwar, Bajana and Jinjhwada.
