About Menmecho Lake
Menmecho Lake is one of Sikkim's many exquisite lakes. It is about 20 kms away from Tsomgo Lake and is surrounded by lush forests and mountains. The lake is said to change colors every minute and is breathtaking to look at. It is covered with snow during the winter months and is famous for the trouts. Fishing permits are needed and there is a government accommodation nearby. Tourists need special permission to visit Menmecho Lake.
