About Vimala Temple
Vimala Temple is a temple dedicated to Goddess Vimala, a name of Goddess Durga. It is located within the Jagannatha Temple complex and is believed to be one of the holiest temples dedicated to Goddess Durga. Married women pay obeisance at this temple and ask for a long and blissful marital life. Durgashtami, celebrated during the Navratri festival is a huge festival at this temple. The temple is built in Kalinga or Deula style of architecture and is revered by many.
