About Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary
The Sipahijola or Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is located 25 km from Agartala. The sanctuary is an attraction of bird lovers of birdwatchers. The wildlife sanctuary spreads over an area of 19 kms and houses more 150 species of resident birds and migratory birds. You can also find orchids, elephant joy rides, beautifully landscaped gardens, boating facilities, wildlife, botanical garden rubber and coffee plantations attracting the tourists all through the year. You can also find rare species like the bespectacled monkeys at the sanctuary.
Clouded Leopard National Park is also located inside the Sipahijola Wildlife Sanctuary.
