About Kunjaban Palace
Kunjaban Palace was built by King Birendra Kishore Manikya in 1927. The Palace is a great monument and displays the rich artistic taste of the ruler. After India became a republic, the Palace was handed over to the Government and is presently used as the dwelling of the Governor of the State of Tripura. Another part of the palace is open for public viewing.
