About Regional Railway Museum, Chennai
Regional Train Museum was setup at Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in 2002. The Vintage coaches belonging to 18th century British Empire, working models of Trains, etc are displayed in outdoor gallery. Approximately 40 coached are exhibited. The indoor gallery houses the rare photograph explaining the ICF functioning and initial stages of Indian Railways. 1860’s double decker coach and Fowler Steam Ploughing engine are striking features of this museum. Kids, students and adults can have a nice tour around the museum in the toy train operated within the museum.
