About Hasanamba Temple
The main deity of this temple is “Goddess Shakti” named Hasanamba. Dating back to 800 years, the inner chamber of the temple will be opened for only two weeks of time. After Balipadyami celebrations, the inner chamber will be closed. Visitors can come across a image of Ravana playing Veena with his nine hands. As per the mythology, people keeps water, sacks of raw rice, lamp and flowers are kept in front of the goddess while closing the inner chamber after celebrations. This rice will remain remains as it is and the lamp continues to glow even after one year when the chamber is opened again.
