About Kukrail Forest Reserve
Kukrail reserve forest was set up in the year 1978 to breed and preserve the endangered crocodile species. Located on picnic spot road, Kukrail forest is ideal for picnicking in wild background. The center in Kukrail forest collects all eggs of crocodile from the banks of Ramganga, Suheli, Girwa and Chambal Rivers. After hatching and grooming them artificially, they are released into rivers again. This Kukrail Forest center is one among the two Gharial reserve centers of India.
