About Darasuram
Darasuram is famous for the Airayateswara temple that boasts of stone carvings depicting different stories related to Lord Shiva. Entrance of the temple is built in form of a chariot and depicts the Chola dynasty architectural skills. There are other temples like Periya Nayaki Amman temple adjoining the main temple.
