About

Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and an important pilgrimage for the followers of Lord Shiva. The temple conducts several auspicious rituals and a lot of tourists consider hiring a tour guide to understand the history of the place. It gets crowded during Maha Shivratri and Kumbh Mela.  Best season to visit would be during or post monsoon as it gets particularly hot during summer months. During monsoon, the lush greenery surrounding the place and the hills in the vicinity make for a pretty picture.
