About Dada Harir Stepwell
Located in Ahmedabad and situated behind Dada Hari’s tomb, Dada Harir Step Well is an octagonal shaped step well located below the ground level created to meet up with the water requirements of locals and tourists. It was built during Mehmud Begda’s rule in the year 1501. The intricate carvings on the walls of the well, its systematic planning, design and its sheer beauty attract a huge number of tourist every year from all over the world, as it showcases our unique architectural designs made us of during those times. Visiting this place is historically, culturally and traditionally very significant. This place is apt for all those who are interested in learning more about our age old civilization, which has molded in itself all its riches and diversity as one strong unit. The entry timings are from 9am to 5pm on all days. Make sure one notices each and everything associated with this so that one can enjoy the experience of being in such a wonderful place with your friends and family.
