About Thikkoti Lighthouse
Legend has it that the Thikkoti lighthouse was built over a hundred years ago on the remains of a shipwreck that happened on VelliyamkalluRock. The lighthouse served as a reminder of the tragedy. Today, this red-and-white-striped lighthouse that looks out to the sea from a rocky, perilous-looking shoreline as migratory birds flock around it is an irresistibly charming sight.
