Emirate Of Dubai Meem Gallery, Dubai

If you are into arts and have a hankering to see the arts and to explore the colours of the Gulf, then head towards Meem Gallery which is a just right place for you. Meem gallery is an illustrious art gallery in the city, located in Al Quoz, exhibiting mainly the Middle Eastern country’s contemporary art while not losing its hold on its ancient ones. The gallery, founded in 2007, has since then organised several solo and group exhibitions of celebrated artists. Works of Iraqi-Canadian born Mahmoud Obaidi's were first exhibited by this gallery in the city. It also presented art works of two most famous artists: Iraqi born Dia Azzawi and Syrian born Marwan. Other famous names include Jordan’s Jamal Abdul Rahim, painter Shakir Hassan Al Said and recently in 2014 held a solo exhibition of Jerusalem born Steve Sabella's photographic works. The gallery has also been the platform of innovative arts and artists. A visit to this gallery housing the vibrant art of the Middle East will not be disappointing.
