One of the main shopping streets in the town of Bareilly. The area dates back to the time of the Raj. It’s the area where civilians came to congregate away from their employers, the British army. From there after, the separation of civilian and military buildings became known as the ‘Civilian Lines’. The name stuck. The area is now home to some of the largest brands, such as Benetton, Ralph Lauren, Nike as well as many others.
