About Kotkhai
Kotkhai is famous for the Ratnari Baghi Valley that has been associated to largest production center of Apples. Other than the delicious apples, Kotkhai offers a peek into the picturesque valley from the highest peak of Himachal named the Hatu peak. Kotkhai got its name due to a palace located on the cliff as Kot means Palace and Khai means cliff. The palace is beautifully located with Giri Ganga River flowing silently below it. Do visit the temple of goddess Mahamai and Lankra Veer and take a trek to the Dhillon pond located in the depths of the forest.
