The Indira Gandhi Park is a place of historical importance. It is the place where late Mrs. Indira Gandhi delivered her last speech. The park covers an area more than 10.6 acres, is located in front of the Orissa assembly. The park has been exquisitely landscaped and is rich in flora. One can find out beautiful green lush trees of wild date palms, kevada plantations, sandalwood trees, mango, and kala jamun. The Park has a number of other facilities such as canteens, musical fountains, waterfalls and rose garden, which catch the sight of the tourists.
