About

Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, dedicated to Lord Vishnu is over 100 years old. Initially the temple for Swaminarayan was built in 18th century by Ranchhodda Pranjeevandas, a devotee of Lord Swaminarayan. The current renovated temple has three spires and magnificently carved front elevation. In Main hall there three shrines dedicated to various God and Goddess. When you look the ceilings of the central doom, you can come across fabulously painted scenarios of Lord Krishna’s Lilas (Games). In the first floor there is Sabha Mandap where rites and discourses are conducted periodically. Ram Navami, Jam Ashtami etc. are celebrated in grandeur.
