Three kilometers from the Big Lake is the 300-feet-tall Kiliyur Falls, which feeds into the valley below. A hike through the enjoyable enchanting woods from the lake will take visitors to the top of the waterfalls. Not only are the falls an impressive site to see, especially during monsoon season, but the area also offers stunning views of the valley as well as a great hiking trail to the base.
The last 500 meter stretch of the route to Kiliyur falls is a rough terrain. During peak monsoon season it is an astonishing view to watch the falls which has heavy water level cascading. The excess waters of Yercaud Lake and other tiny streams of Yercaud falls through this falls into the Kiliyur Valley.
