Chabahil , Boudhanath
Chabahil is an ancient town located at the northeastern side of the Kathmandu Valley. It is famous for its Licchavi Stupa which is called the Dhando Chaitya. Historians consider the stupa to be the oldest Buddhist stupa. Apart from the historic stupa, the town is a home to two big temples which are located at just a 5 minute distance from the stupa. One of which is Chandra Binayak, a holy shrine devoted to Lord Ganesha who is Hindu god with a human body and an elephant head.
