About Teli Ka Mandir
Teli Ka Mandir is one of most popular destinations of Gwalior as it is tallest at over 100 ft. and most impressive temple one can find in Gwalior. It is one of the few Hindu temples in North India with architecture; especially the upper part is similar to those of Hindu temples of the south. Built in 11th century, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Very large image of Garuda (Lord Vishnu) makes this an important place. It architecture is mixture of various styles live Dravidians and Indo-Aryans which make this place architectural marvel.
Teli Ka Mandir is also situated within the Gwalior fort complex and gives nice view of Gwalior city below. Teli Ka Mandir is the oldest monument inside the Gwalior fort complex.
