About Mae De Deus Church
Located in Saligao, Bardez, Mae De Deus Church (or Mother of God Church) is a Gothic style church in north Goa. It is a small church, good for spending a couple of quiet hours after exhausting oneself at the beach and the hustle and bustle of north Goa. It is about 13 kms from Panaji, on the way to Mapusa and is also referred to as Saligao Gothic Church. The church is lit up at night and looks charming and mystical.
