About Sharjah Aquarium

For those who feel the Lost Chambers at Atlantis is expensive, this aquarium of Sharjah is just the right place for you. The Sharjah Aquarium located on the Al Meena Street, impresses visitors with its stunning showcases of marine animals and their habitat. The habitat, that includes Dibba rock, mangroves, coral reef and shark islands, was created keeping in tune with the native marine life of the seas of the Gulf. Walking inside the tunnels, you will find the colorful fishes of over 250 species gracefully frolicking around you and above you. There is a small glass bridge and under which the fishes can be seen. Meet the Moray eels, seahorses, reef sharks, eagle rays, jellyfish and the new additions, parrot-fish and red toothed trigger fish and many more at this aquarium. Its magnificence and name may not be as big as that of Atlantis but considering the price, it is totally worth the while.
