Seven Waterfalls Tour from Kandy

Go on an exciting tour from Kandy to explore seven different waterfalls of the Midlands in Sri Lanka. Enjoy the tour as you hike the peaks, valleys, tea covered hills and streams of cool water. Visit the 15m tall Rahas Falls and get to know more about the story behind this place. Next visit the Hulu River. This river is 75 m tall and is said to have originated from Knuckles mountain ranges. Sarii Ella is a 45 m twin falls located in Jodu Ella. Kosgama Falls, Thaliya Watuna Falls is located within the Lebanon Tea Estate.

• Hike along beautiful peaks, lush green valley’s dotted with tea plantations and streams of crystal clear water

• Explore 7 breathtaking waterfalls from Wattegama to Bambarella. 

Itinerary :

• 7:00am - Tour starts with your hotel pick-up from Kandy and we drive towards Rahas Falls.
• You can have breakfast before we start, or bring your own packed breakfast.
• Our first waterfall stop will be Rahas Falls, which is 15 meter high waterfall over a depression in rock. You will get to hear the legend behind this waterfall from your guide. Bathing in this water fall is not save though as water is dangerously deep here.
• Next we visit Hulu River Falls which are 75 meters tall. Originating in the Knuckles mountain range, the waterfall is located in beautiful settings of greenery offering perfect photo ops. Water here is crystal clear.
• On the way we break for a traditional Sri Lankan lunch
• Next we proceed to Sarii Ella falls named after traditional clothing worn by the women of India and Sri Lanka.
• Jodu Ella falls which are 45m tall and have twin falls are next on the list.
• Finally we head to Lebanon Tea Estate where two of three waterfalls the Kosgama Falls and Thaliya Wetuna Falls flow.
• 5:00pm approx - We finish the tour and you are dropped off at your hotel in Kandy.
