Amidst of Jamboti Forest, in Belgaum district is located the Varapoha Falls. This waterfall is located on the banks of Mandovi River. Mandovi River is the longest river which flows in Goa State. Mandovi River after flowing through thick Jamboti Forests falls as Varapoha Falls from atop a hillock. The Varapoha waterfall attracts photographers, Picnic lovers, Botanist etc a lot. Along with Mandovi River, two streams namely Pannera Nala and Marcidha Nala joins while falling from 150 feet height into a very deep ravine. If you are lucky enough you can see Pied Hornbill and Huli Salinga which belongs to poisonous tarantula family nearby the Varapoha Waterfalls.
