About Kukke Subramanya
- Kukke Subramanya temple is located at the Subramanya village in Sulia taluk and is famous for its association with Lord Subramanya. It is believed that all serpents including Vasuki took refuge under lord Subramanya when they were under threat from Garud. Located at the banks of River Kumaradhara one has to take a holy dip in this river too. Inside the temple the Garuda Pillar which stands tall covered in silver in the entrance only is worth admiration.
