About Pokhara

Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal and located about 200 Kms from its capital Kathmandu. Pokhara is a paradise for trek lovers and adrenaline junkies. Located 200 kms from Kathmandu it is has all the elements for a perfect holiday with stunning scenery, adventure sports and mouth-watering delicacies. There’s more to Pokhara than its laid-back charisma. It also shows off a booming adventure sports industry; it is debatably the best paragliding site on the globe and is encircled by white-water rivers. The World Peace Pagoda, which rests on nearby hill next to Phewar Lake, is a massive spot to view Pokhara and the Annapurnas. Pokhara is very beautiful, as you can witness some of the massive peaks of the Annapurna range including Machapuchare (or 'Fishtail mountain') soaring over the town and the lake.

The famous Annapurna Range located within close proximity of Pokhara makes it a hot bed for trekkers around the world. The tranquil atmosphere of Pokhara and its laid back charm is the perfect place to recharge your batteries.
