About Kotla Fort
Kotla Fort is located overlooking the state highway between Shahpur and Nurpur close to the main town of Kangra. Built during the period of the Gular Rajas, this site is oft visited by those wishing to take in some local history and enjoying a walk in the thick pine forests nearby. The fort is accompanied by a temple, making the visit all the more rewarding.
