About Naini Lake
Naini Lake is a beautiful and expansive lake that shimmers amidst seven rich hills specked by the Nainital town, which is named after the lake and the deity of the temple near. This vast spread of emerald water body that glistens under the sun is a picture perfect scene that is best enjoyed from the rope car. An impressive red roofed temple, the Nainidevi temple - dedicated to Goddess Sati (Lord Shiva’s wife) is situated on the northern bank of the lake which adds charm to the place.
